It was a wonderful experience feeding the Llamas and alpacas. However, I bought a very expensive piece of art and it was not wrapped well for travel. I have just returned home to find two pieces broken off - repairable, but disappointing. Also, I was told that I would be emailed a description of the piece and the name of the artist. It's been over a week since purchase and I have received anything. Also, disappointing.

Hezké místo pro poznání 5 druhů lam, které můžete i nakrmit. Zajímavá je i ukázka tkání látek. Vstup je zdarma, ale očekává se, že si něco koupíte. Zboží je krásné, ale nekoupila jsem bohužel nic, protože oproti Cuscu je vše velmi drahé. Přispěla jsem raději do kasičky u lam. Přijela jsem collectivem z Cusca za 2 soly.

Great educational stop
I enjoyed the opportunity to see all of the animals near each other to appreciate the differences. Not sure I could pass an identification test but feeding them barley was really fun. The shopping area has some beautiful things. I enjoyed the demonstration on how to tell the real types of alpaca from the fakes. We are a little tight on space and didn't buy anything, but there was no pressure.

I was pleasantly surprised by the hospitality, history and good feelings from these people and this place. I learned about their cultural practices, the alpaca and llamas and condor as well. I bought some of the most beautiful pieces of clothing that i will cherish forever! This place is incredible and the people are wonderful to work with, very helpful! A wonderful cooperative of fiber artists who are producing alpaca, llama and vicuña clothing and crafts using traditional methods. We fed the alpacas and llamas, learned about traditional fiber arts and Incan history, and purchased authentic alpaca yarn and clothing.

Very nice experience, in a place surrounded by nature! Learn to differentiate the different kinds of Lama and Alpaca, to distinguish real alpaca clothes from synthetic ones! Very friendly staff and always happy to answer our questions At the end of the visit, possibility to buy alpaca and llama products made by local women.

A Great Place for Seeing Llamas & Alpacas
We visited Manos de la Comunidad right after flying into Cusco and received a warm welcome, had fun feeding and learning about the llamas and alpacas, and we learned how to distinguish between real alpaca garments (cool to the touch) versus synthetic ones you might find in a market. Women were weaving and a band was playing and there were condors and guinea pigs too. The bathrooms were a bit rustic. They also served coca tea.

excellent place to get to know CUSCO
Visiting Cusco was one of the best experiences, and even more so was visiting Manos de la Comunidad, a magical place surrounded by pure living nature and very enchanted by the variety of well-cared-for camelids. The activities within Manos de la Comunidad are unique; I also found baby alpaca wool products of very good quality and at a great price, as well as handicrafts made by local artisans. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about everything, answering all our questions about the place and the animals. Thanks to Manos de la Comunidad, I am taking away one of the best experiences of my life, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to visit Cusco.

Dedication to community service and a purpose. . Commitment to taking the pl. Relief for animals is evident in this place. The guide Alex explained the lallamas and helped us feed the Lama's we. Also fed the alpaca's and understood different types of Fur. Especially zuri view went ahead and saw the community. Women weavng the different art defects from the wool. There are chances that miniature models kept of machu picchu, which is very, very attractive. There is AA Condor there are 3 corn doors which are housed. Around the same facility we watch the Condor opening. Its wings after Alex made sounds couple of times very interesting visit. We were led to the store but did not buy stuff because of the time and also I found the prices a little higher because they are original. Products , but very nice place to visit in cusco

Great spot for animal and clothes lovers
This was such a fun experience. Stopped here during a city tour of Cusco and we were able to feed a bunch of llamas, alpacas, huacanas, and vicuñas. They’re all so cute and taken care of. We received an education about the process of creating the wool, dying them, and creating them into clothing. There is artwork and clothing for sale. The pieces were very nice quality and the person who gave us a tour of the center was well spoken (he is able to speak English). If you have time or are looking for a nice alpaca (or even vicuña) piece, then I’d suggest making a stop here!
